For highway services and supplies in Limp Mode, plan each stop around fuel and the parts or tuning categories you need. Fuel sold in towns costs $3 per litre, while highway gas stations are free but contain only a small amount. The most complete destination is Town of Taste at km 1030, while the base village can provide every major service after you buy its shops.

Where to get repairs and vehicle parts

Parts stores are available at the base village after purchase, Idlewood, Tokwo, Times Scare and Town of Taste. They stock canisters, siphon hoses, wheels and tyres, suspension, brakes, radiators, batteries, alternators, oil pans, lights, body panels, fluids, repair materials, ignition and fuel-system parts, diesel components and several tools. They do not sell engines. Lost Wages has a parts store, but it does not sell canisters, so arrive with fuel or containers already prepared.

Car dealers are found in Idlewood and Times Scare for new and used cars, and in Lost Wages and Town of Taste for new cars. A dealer buys any car at its full condition value. The pawn shop buys items, including bare rims, but does not sell anything.

Tuning shop categories

  • Idlewood: suspension, wheels, three- and four-cylinder engines, gauges and miscellaneous parts.
  • New Creeps: body and aero, exhaust and six-cylinder engines.
  • Tokwo: turbo parts, V8 engines, gauges and drivetrain parts.
  • Hell-Ein: the shop is closed; its crates contain four random categories.
  • Town of Taste and the purchased base shop: all tuning categories.

These categories cover body kits and aero pieces, coilovers and springs, wheels and tyres, mufflers, turbo kits and intercoolers, petrol and diesel engines, differentials, the AWD conversion kit, large radiators and adjustable brake valves. Every tuning shop also sells the ECU software tool.

Fuel and travel planning

Every town has a workshop with a phone booth that provides teleportation. Use the route to decide whether to carry spare fuel: supplies become less available farther along the highway, and Lost Wages, Hell-Ein and Constantin Nope cannot be treated as normal refuelling stops. Highway fuel stations are free but limited, whereas town pumps charge $3 per litre. Chompy's provides food from the drive-through or counter, and the source notes that stops between towns are spaced every 7–20 km without the same type of place appearing twice within 50 km.
