To unlock the Ghost in Feed the Cups using a solo setup, use a second Steam account with its own copy of the game, then run the game on two devices or in a virtual machine. Have the second account host the session, invite your main account, and complete stage 1-1 five times on the lowest available difficulty. The source indicates that five completed runs are normally enough to trigger the unlock.

What you need

  • A second computer, Windows handheld, or suitable virtual-machine setup that can run the game at the same time.
  • A second Steam account with another copy of Feed the Cups. You can use a borrowed account or create a new one if necessary.
  • Your main account added as a Steam friend of the second account.
  • Enough time to finish five runs of stage 1-1. Each run usually takes roughly ten minutes or somewhat longer.

Ghost unlock steps

  1. Start the game on the second account and use that account as the host for the entire process.
  2. Add your main account as a friend, then invite the main account into the second account's room.
  3. Select stage 1-1 and choose the lowest difficulty available. This stage is recommended because it is shorter and less troublesome if the connection fails.
  4. Finish the stage with both accounts connected. Repeat the same stage until you have completed it five times.
  5. Check the main account after the fifth clear to confirm that the Ghost has unlocked.

Useful setup shortcuts

The opening tutorial can be completed through the demo before starting the full game. After doing that, start stage 1-1 in the full version and exit immediately. According to the source, this can prevent the full version from requiring the tutorial again. However, the demo itself cannot be used for the online two-account unlock method, so both players still need the full game for the actual runs.

Connection and progress precautions

Keep the second account hosting throughout the attempt. Joining another player's room can prevent you from choosing the stage and can make cards or other selections awkward to manage between accounts. Watch the main account during every run because disconnects are reported to occur frequently.

If the main account disconnects, do not finish the current shop or store section. Instead, have the second account return directly to the main menu, then invite the main account again from home and continue. Ending the current shop is specifically not the recommended recovery method. Progress handling can differ on harder stages, and returning to the main menu may reset progress there, which is another reason to use 1-1 only.

Time and refund tracking

Before starting, note the purchase date and watch the second account's playtime. Steam playtime may not update until the game has been closed, so after three or four completed runs, close the game and check the recorded time. The source recommends staying within the applicable two-hour refund limit and completing any refund request within the applicable 14-day purchase window. These are timing constraints to monitor; confirm the current Steam refund rules for your account and region rather than relying on an old limit.

If the first clear does not appear to count, return the main account home and check the unlock progress before repeating all five runs. The source warns that the developers could change the requirement in a future update, so confirming progress after the first 1-1 completion can prevent wasted time.
