To make dough in Songs of Glimmerwick, put Flour onto a filled Watering Can from your hotbar or inventory. Then combine the dough with a suitable ingredient and place it in a cooking fire at one of the available cooking locations.
Get flour
- Buy Flour from the Miller for 20 Petals.
- Alternatively, grow Wheat from seeds costing 20 Petals each, then grind it in a Wheatmill. The Wheatmill schematic is sold in
Wisk - Practical Practicefor 650 Petals.
Make dough
- Fill your Watering Can with water.
- From your hotbar or inventory, click and drop Flour onto the Watering Can.
- The filled Watering Can produces Dough.
Turn dough into food
- Click and drop a suitable ingredient onto the Dough.
- If the ingredient has a baking recipe, it changes into a named dough, such as Herbed Focaccia Dough or Mushroom Dumpling Dough.
- Travel to a cooking location and interact with its fire.
- Deposit the Dough or ingredient dough in the fire's cooking slot.
- Wait while the batch cooks. The finished food appears in the slot on the right.
Do not right-click the finished product, because that consumes it immediately.

If the Miller stops selling flour
After the Cacophony Curse introduces the Cursed Mill task, the Miller can stop selling Flour and Wheat. Follow the white footprints to find the Miller's goblin hiding on the beach. Progress requires the Melody of Stones, obtained by freeing Codrin from the fairy ring in the Ochre Woods, and one Ungrowth Potion to access the mountain. After the curse is broken, the Miller sells five Flour for 800 Petals; the duration of this availability is not specified.
