To unlock every listed RetroSpace achievement, complete the game on the required difficulties and endings, finish the special challenge runs, complete all side quests and collectibles, and track your kills, alerts, exploration, upgrades, and other statistics. Higher difficulty completion also unlocks the lower-difficulty completion achievements.

Challenge-run achievements
- Hobo for life: Finish the game without spending money in food or drink vending machines. Buying Mutamods, gadgets, and weapon upgrades is allowed.
- Never there: Finish the game without any enemy detecting you. Keep
Enemies Alertedat 0. - Warren Wrenchman: Finish the game using only the Power Wrench and HyperBroom for direct kills. The only tools you may use are the Universe Cleaner and Fire Extinguisher. Indirect environmental kills, Mutamods, and gadgets are allowed, but do not use weapons for utility actions such as shooting lights or gas pipes.
- This is NOT the way: Finish one playthrough without picking up the helmet. This removes the HUD and its built-in oxygen supply, so entering gassed vents damages you immediately.
- Clean hands: Finish the game without killing anyone, including robots and turrets. Keep
Player Killsat 0. - I prefer my payment in cash: Collect 2,000 credits without dying. About 6,000–7,000 credits are available across the station, so save carefully.
- Are you okay, buddy? Spend at least one hour below 20% health. Remaining idle for an hour meets the time requirement, but low health remains dangerous.
Quick saves and autosaves can be reloaded when necessary. Avoid manually backing up and overwriting save files, as this can corrupt saves and cause quest or achievement problems. The save files are located at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\The Wild Gentlemen\Retrospace.
Kill tracking and combat rules
Direct melee and ranged kills count as Player Kills. Environmental hazards, faction infighting, friendly security, special explosions, and certain indirect boss kills count as Enemy Deaths instead. This distinction matters for the no-kill and melee-only achievements.
- Player Kills: direct melee attacks and ranged shots.
- Enemy Deaths: acid or burning oil puddles, existing fire, electrified water, steam pipes, explosive barrels, batteries, faction infighting, Brain Parasite infighting, friendly turrets, friendly flamethrower turrets, enemy self-destruction, upgraded Unicellular kills, and indirect kills involving Charley, The Miracle of Science, The Dark Side of Science, or The Horror of Science.
