To raid a bandit camp in Order: The New Dawn, push the story mode until you can build the cross-region vehicle station and unlock the attack on the bandit camp. Then fly to a landing spot inside the camp where no enemies are present (a central airdrop point works), clear the defenders with normal weapons, disable the turrets by finding and destroying their power cables so they self-destruct, and finally loot and dismantle everything of value. The fight itself is not hard, so you do not need to wait for support or play cautiously.

Prerequisites

  • Progress the story mode far enough to build the cross-region vehicle station.
  • Unlock the bandit camp attack through that story progress.
  • Bring a vehicle or transport capable of carrying packed loot back.
  • Carry weapons good enough for ordinary camp enemies; no special anti-turret gear is strictly required.

Step-by-Step Raid

  1. Land in an empty spot. Choose a landing point inside the camp where no bandits are standing. A central airdrop position is a reliable choice because it tends to be clear of immediate enemies.
  2. Clear the defenders. Kill the bandits as they come. If reinforcements arrive, keep fighting normally — the source notes the combat difficulty is low, so you do not need to retreat or wait for allied support.
  3. Disable the turrets. Do not try to destroy turrets head-on. Instead, find the electrical cable feeding each turret and break that cable. Once the power line is cut, the turret can be detonated from a distance, and it will self-destruct.
  4. Secure the camp. Finish off any remaining enemies and make sure no turret is still active before you start looting.
  5. Loot and pack high-value items. The camp contains a very large amount of resources. Pack the most valuable items for sale, such as batteries and high-tier workbenches.
  6. Dismantle the rest. Break down remaining structures and objects for parts. In city camps, the walls are made entirely of composite metal walls; dismantling and taking them means you no longer need to smelt steel. Floors can also be dismantled and taken.

Map Resources Around the Camp

The map around the camp holds a huge amount of mineral resources. Mine a portion and carry it away rather than trying to clear everything. There are also many medicinal herbs. In one map the source checked, there were over 3,000 thorn-tongue autumn plants. Taking these and processing them into medicinal essence can earn a good amount of money, though it does take time.

Combat Notes

  • Enemy reinforcements are not a reason to panic; the source describes the fight as easy.
  • Do not waste ammunition trying to shoot through turret armor — cut the cable instead.
  • Clear the camp fully before looting so you are not interrupted while packing or dismantling.

Loot Priority

  • First: batteries and high-tier workbenches, because they sell for the most.
  • Second: composite metal walls and floors from city camps, because they save you from having to smelt steel.
  • Third: bulk parts from dismantling everything else.
  • Optional: nearby minerals and herbs, especially if you have cargo space and time to process the herbs into medicinal essence.
