To install mods in Nightclub Simulator, you connect the game to your mod.io account. Open the in-game menu, go to the mods tab, and enter the email address you use on mod.io. Step-by-Step Installation
1. Open the mods tab in the game
- Press the button that opens the game menu. In the source example this was the X button on a controller, but the correct button depends on your own setup.
- Scroll sideways until you reach the mods tab.
- A window appears with a field for your email address. Enter the email you registered with on mod.io.
2. Confirm your email on the in-game computer
- Walk to your in-game computer.
- Make sure you are viewing the game through the window that displays the game itself, not a separate overlay.
- Using your keyboard, type your email address into that window.
- After you submit it, a five-digit code is sent to your email inbox.
3. Register and link with mod.io Connect
- If you have not already done so, register at mod.io beforehand.
- Go to mod.io Connect and follow the linking process so your device is associated with your account.
- Use the five-digit code as part of this linking step when prompted.
- Once the device is linked, the connection between the game and mod.io is complete.
4. Subscribe to mods
You can subscribe in either of two places:
- On the computer: find the mod you want and press the Subscribe button.
- Inside the game: open the additional options menu, shown as three underscores or three dots depending on how the interface renders it, and press Subscribe there as well.
After subscribing, the mods download and become available, so you can start using them.
