To obtain the Desert Repairman part, speak to Ilia at the bar in Powat if you have not unlocked the underground area. If you can access the underground, buy the part from one of its merchants. Take the part to the man standing in front of the tent in the desert to gain use of the buggy and cross the desert while avoiding the titans.
How to repair the buggy
- Follow the paths west until you reach the desert.
- Obtain the required part from either source in Powat:
- Talk to Ilia at the bar in Powat if the underground is not available.
- Buy the part from a merchant in Powat's underground if you have access to that area.
- Go to the desert and speak to the man in front of the tent.
- Give him the part to repair the buggy and unlock its use.
Using the buggy
The buggy is needed to cross the desert while avoiding the titans. Losing a fight against a titan results in a bad ending, so use the buggy to bypass those encounters.
