A walkthrough covering all 30 achievements in Kalanoro. Most unlock through normal story progression, while others call for exploration and specific actions. Exact locations for the story beats aren't listed here, since you'll come across them naturally.
Part 1: Story-driven achievements you can't miss
No. 1 - Welcome to Lemuria: Start the game.
No. 2 - First Rescue: Free the first musician.
No. 3 - The Band Is Complete: Recover every musician.
No. 4 - End of the Vinyl: Boss fight, defeat Rapeto.
No. 5 - The Diva Bows Out: Boss fight, defeat Fara.
No. 6 - Facing the CEO: Meet the one in charge.
No. 7 - The Final Countdown: Boss fight, defeat Raneny.
No. 8 - Starred Chef: Cook a dish.
No. 9 - Express Printing: Print a poster.
No. 10 - First Fans: Grow your fan count (posters...).
No. 11 - What an Icon!: Unlocks with even more fans.
No. 12 - Village Stars: Earn fans using only posters.
No. 13 - Stage Master: Clear every musical performance.
Part 2: Trophies that pop simply as you progress (with a bit of exploration)
No. 14 - Michelin Star:
Cook the favorite dishes of your musicians. If you don't feed them they get captured, so this one comes quickly.
No. 15 - Survivor:
Defeat a handful of enemies without dying; the game is fairly easy, so it won't give you any trouble.
No. 16 - Indestructible:
Defeat a boss without dying — again, since the game is very simple, this won't be an issue. Otherwise, head back to the bus and restart the boss fight.
No. 17 - Confirmed Cartographer:
Reveal every corner of the map. Cage levels don't count toward this achievement; they only appear when you fail to feed your musicians.
No. 18 - Oops:
Fall into the void several times.
No. 19 - Babysitter:
Rescue a baby lemur. With a bit of exploration, you'll pick this one up easily.
No. 20 - Airwave Star:
Defend the radio posts (60-second waves) several times; once again, with a bit of exploration, the achievement comes on its own.
No. 21 - Treasure Hunter:
Open several chests hidden across the levels. Explore and it's yours.
Part 3: Achievements tied to slightly more specific actions
No. 22 - Poster Factory:
Print several dozen posters in a row.
No. 23 - Lemuria's Hairdresser:
Progress in the story to unlock a hairdresser on the roof of your van. Grow plants in your garden (planter purchasable from merchant No. 1) to obtain dyes. 3 plants of the same color give one dye, then change Kalakely's hair color.
No. 24 - Bus DJ:
Listen to different cassettes on the bus radio.
No. 25 - Fast and Fabulous:
Activate the turbo to move faster with your van. The turbo is bought from merchant No. 1.
No. 26 - Flip-flop Fury:
Score a few kills using the flip-flops. You have some in the early levels and at the start of the "Tiered Beaches" level.
No. 27 - Perfect Run:
Finish a level at 100% in a single run. You need to collect every gem, poster, scroll... from the same level in one go. Normally this achievement unlocks on its own; some levels are very easy and need little exploration.
Part 4: And to wrap up, the achievements you've all been waiting for...
No. 28 - Lemuria's Historian:
You'll have to explore every corner looking for envelope-shaped documents. Read all the documents by talking with the van's driver. Count on roughly 31–32 documents to land this achievement.
No. 29 - Always Ready to Help:
You need to finish 3 side quests.
1/ Lemursan's Quest: Speak with Lemursan in the "Ochre Lands" level, then go to a hut in the "Broken Massif" level to learn of "Le P'tit Paradis" and head there to validate the quest.
2/ Babalaye's Quest: Speak with Babalaye in the "Tiered Beaches" level, then go to the "Mangrove Trail" level to meet an NPC in the north-west and obtain the authorization. Return to Babalaye to validate the quest.
3/ Stredon's Quest: Speak with Stredon in the "Rams Cargo Terminal" level, push the cube up to him, bring the documents you get to the PC in the "Free Enterprises" level, then validate the quest.
No. 30 - Totem 51: The totem is found south-west of the beach at merchant No. 2.
