To earn all 29 achievements in Forever Ago, complete the seven story achievements, perform the chapter-specific interactions, and finish the cumulative collections. Most achievements can be cleaned up with chapter select after finishing the game, but all seven memory-flower sequences and all six rest spots must be collected in one continuous run from Chapters 2–6.

Chapter-specific interaction achievements
Chapter 1: Woolson Falls
Curious Shutter— Photograph every noteworthy object in Alfred's room and exhaust the available conversations. Photograph almost everything, including the apple on the floor to the right, the poster, medal, and clock. Do not photograph Alfred through the window until you are finished, because that advances the scene.
Chapter 2: Carl Pumpkin Gas Station Supermarket
Saint's Patience— After entering the supermarket, wait without interacting whenever Milton talks. Let him finish his comments during the shopping interactions, then check out at the end of the chapter.Shopaholic— Buy the six optional items in addition to the story-required map book and windscreen wipers: biscuits, canned food, the snowman air freshener, the sticker bowl, crisps, and the shirt.
Saint's Patience and Shopaholic can be completed during the same supermarket visit.
Chapter 3: Highway Star Restaurant
Where's the Hat?— Rest on the bench to the left of the restaurant entrance. After speaking with Maddie and entering the dump later in the chapter, the hat is recovered automatically and the achievement unlocks.
Chapter 5: Unexpected Detour
Stupid Thing!— After waking and getting dressed, go to the kitchen and close the open cupboard five times. Walk away after each attempt so it opens again.Gardening Expert— Water all the flowers on the right-hand side faster than Sam. Keep moving and return for more water after every three waterings.Make a Wish— During the campfire scene with the dog near the end of the chapter, choose any of the three timed options before the timer expires.
Chapter 6: Captain Marley and the Pirate Amusement Park
Olympic-Level Stick Thrower— Play three rounds of fetch with the dog. Sticks can be found after returning outside with the wire cutters, on the path where the dog leads you, beside the bin opposite the duck statue, and near the golden statue by the park entrance.Lord of the Guards— Score more than1337points on the inner arcade machine in the arcade hall.Beaky— After obtaining the wire cutters, enter the security office at the park entrance and pick up the bobblehead from the desk.Starboard 360— During the final boat sequence, paddle in one direction until the boat completes a full 360-degree turn. Paddle only on the opposite side to turn.
Chapter 7: Winslow Lighthouse
Is It a Bird? Is It a Plane? It's a Dog!— When the story prompts you to photograph the bird's nest, do not photograph the nest. Lower the camera and photograph your dog instead.
Chapter 8: Mount Wilhelmina
Sean and Jason— While searching for the dog, press the call button at least 30 times when its prompt appears in the lower-right corner. Do this before passing the log, because the call prompt disappears shortly afterward.
Finale
The World's Largest Mosaic Pumpkin Collection— After the credits, return to the house and find all seven mosaic pumpkins:- On the bookshelf in the starting room.
- On the windowsill to the right after leaving the room.
- In the corner of the upstairs hallway.
- Behind the upstairs bathroom door.
- On the shelf above the stairs after going downstairs.
- On the small cabinet immediately left after entering the downstairs living room.
- On the coffee table in the downstairs living room.
Photo and cumulative achievements
Selfie Photography— Take 10 selfies. Selfies become available in Chapter 4. In free-roam sections or chapter select, you can take a selfie, delete it, and repeat.Finding Focus— Take 25 photographs.Picturesque— Take 50 photographs. Photos can be taken and deleted repeatedly during free-roam sections or chapter select to build the total.A Glimpse of the Past— Find one memory phantom.Memory Flower Collector— Find all seven memory-flower sequences. Collect every flower in each sequence, then photograph the designated flower spot; the sequence does not count until it has been photographed.Old Bones— Rest at all six rest spots. The following route covers the memory flowers and rest spots. Do not rely on chapter select for these collections; gather all of them in one playthrough.
Chapter 2: Carl Pumpkin Gas Station Supermarket
Rest spot 1/6— After getting out of the car, find the bench to the right of the sign directly ahead.Memory flower 1/7: The World's Largest Mosaic Pumpkin— Find one flower below the noticeboard and another beside the large pumpkin sculpture, reached by going upstairs on the left of the board. Photograph the memory at the pumpkin sign nearby.Memory flower 2/7: Fun and Colorful— In the small playground on the other side of the gas station, collect the flowers under the swing, beside the bench, and next to the sandbox below the slide. Turn back and photograph the memory in the center of the area.Rest spot 2/6— Rest on the sofa inside the supermarket.
Chapter 3: Highway Star Restaurant
Memory flower 3/7: Fun and Colorful— After leaving the hotel, enter the pool area on the right. Collect the flowers on the steps and beside the pool, then photograph the memory near the lower edge of the pool.Rest spot 3/6— Rest on the bench to the left of the restaurant. This is also the trigger forWhere's the Hat?.Memory flower 4/7: Shelter from the Rain— Collect one flower by the restaurant's interior back door. Reach the outside area by entering through the white gate opened from the observation deck, then find the other flower on the stairs. Photograph the memory at the top of the stairs.Rest spots 4/6 and 5/6— From the observation deck outside the restaurant, open the white gate and use both benches beyond it.
Chapter 6: Captain Marley and the Pirate Amusement Park
Memory flower 5/7: Goodbye, Marley— Just inside the turnstile, collect the flower on the ground and another in front of the large sculpture. Photograph the memory beneath the light.Memory flower 6/7: This Is Tradition— In the small train area left of the turnstile, collect the flower on the bench, the one beneath the photograph sign, and the one at the exit on the opposite side of the bin. Photograph the memory in the middle of the area.Memory flower 7/7: Reliable Adults— Follow the main path past the fallen sign and turn right onto the pier. Collect all three flowers around the pier, then photograph the memory beside the pier's bench.Rest spot 6/6— After leaving the pier, turn right to the boat-shaped observation platform and lean on the railing to rest.

Post-game chapter-select cleanup
Across Time Selfie requires the completed game. Use chapter select to return to Chapter 2, enter the supermarket, and take a selfie with Milton. This achievement is not obtained during the initial playthrough.
