Car Park Capital: Russian Translation Installation Guide

Ready-Made Pack: Install the Russian translation

Goal

Install the Russian translation for Car Park Capital on Early Access version 1.0.0.

Prerequisites

  • The game must be Early Access version 1.0.0.

Steps

  1. Close the game.
  2. In Steam, open Library, right-click Car Park Capital, choose Manage, and select Browse local files.
  3. Confirm that the opened folder contains carparkcapital.exe.
  4. Extract the translation archive into the folder containing carparkcapital.exe.
  5. Check that these items appear beside carparkcapital.exe:
    • install_ru.bat
    • uninstall_ru.bat
    • README_RU.txt
    • CPC-RU
  6. From the game folder, run the installer:
install_ru.bat

The installer may take up to one minute and reports when the installation is complete.

  1. Launch the game.

Expected Result

The Russian translation is installed after the installer reports completion and the game is started.

Limits

A game update may restore the original font and graphics. Text added by an update remains in English until a new translation version is available.

Recovery

  • If Russian letters appear as unusual symbols or the text has returned to English, run install_ru.bat again from the game folder.
  • If the installer reports that the graphics files do not match the originals, a new version of the translation is required.

Ready-Made Pack: Remove the Russian translation

Goal

Remove the translation, restore the original font and graphics, and enable English.

Steps

Use either of the following removal methods.

Removal script

  1. From the game folder, run:
uninstall_ru.bat

This returns the original font and graphics, removes the translation, and enables English.

Steam alternative

  1. In Steam, open Car Park Capital properties and go to Installed Files.
  2. Choose Verify integrity of game files.
  3. Select English in the game settings.

Expected Result

Either removal method returns the game to its original font and graphics with English enabled.

Cleanup

After removal, the following items can be deleted from the game folder:

  • install_ru.bat
  • uninstall_ru.bat
  • README_RU.txt
  • CPC-RU
